I belive we need more decentralisation but we are moving to being more centralised, because economy of scale and network effects? Not sure if this can be reverted or slowed, regulation maybe? Facebook has been working on Diem, a crypto currency. What if, in addition to other services, all your money was suddenly inaccessible? Not bashing FB, mistakes happen. But centralisation easily leads to fragility in a system and it’s something to consider.
