@slightlylate I think this is something where the "curators" like Apple and Google should do more to encourage and reward apps which work well on a wide range of devices. Google does(did?) it for the web and that is commendable developers.google.com/web/updates/2018/07/search-ads-speed

@slightlylate I think Alex hits the nail on the head on one of the issues. Which is not a JS specific one. Developers are mostly rich(er) and equipped with the latest hardware, they don't feel the pain of using their app or website on older hardware with small screens and a slow network.
